CBP advised the trade that the Mandatory ACE Implementation has been moved back from February 28, 2016.
Taking into consideration the input from trade stakeholders, CBP has implemented a staggered approach to the mandatory filing of electronic entries and corresponding entry summaries in ACE, and the decommissioning of electronic entry/entry summary filing capabilities in the Automated Commercial System (ACS).
The staggered implementation will be starting on March 31, 2016. CBP and the other Participant Government Agencies, have a timeframe of certain portions of ACE mandate staggered thru December 2016 as initially laid out by the Single Window initiative of the White House.
Mallory Alexander is at 78% of processing through the ACE program, which is over 50% higher than the trade average of participation. Mallory Alexander will continue with moving your imports from ACS to ACE platform as the functionality is available, if we have not already transitioned your imports.
